Grants for School Footballs
MANAWATU GETS £2O WELLINGTON, Last- Night. The management committee of the New Zealand Rugby Football Union tonight made grants for school footbabs as follow!—Waikato £3O, North Auckland, Bav of Plenty, Hawke’s Bay, South Canterbury and Southland £25 each, Thames Valley, Taranaki, Wanganui, Manawatu, Horowhenua, East Coast, Poverty Bay, Bush, Wairarapa, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson, Builer, Golden Bav, West Coast, Canter* burv, Otago, King Country, Ashburton and North Otago £2O each. The following applications for reinstatement from Rugby League were granted: AY. Sturmcy (Wanganui), K. Chisholm (West Coast), B. J. Kamcron, J. E. Powell and C. W. Thompson (Waikato), -T. Allen and G. A. Sindeu (Hawke’s Bay), R. Still (Wellington), M. Fitzgerald, M. D. Fitzgerald, -T. Rutherford, 11. G. Stcnberg and W. J. Keymer (Auckland), J. Simpson (South Canterbury), E. Ripia, F. C. Eisonhut, S. C. Pausina, D. C. -Maclean, H. Ball'antine, V. Ritchie, R. C. Stancich, B. H. Stancicli. T. H. Andrews, B. Paki, D. P. O’Meara and T. Rosieur (North Auckland).
