MANAWATU GETS £2O WELLINGTON, Last- Night. The management committee of the New Zealand Rugby Football Union tonight made grants for school footbabs as follow!—Waikato £3O, North Auckland, Bav of Plenty, Hawke’s Bay, South Canterbury and Southland £25 each, Thames Valley, Taranaki, Wanganui, Manawatu, Horowhenua, East Coast, Poverty Bay, Bush, Wairarapa, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson, Builer, Golden Bav, West Coast, Canter* burv, Otago, King Country, Ashburton and North Otago £2O each. The following applications for reinstatement from Rugby League were granted: AY. Sturmcy (Wanganui), K. Chisholm (West Coast), B. J. Kamcron, J. E. Powell and C. W. Thompson (Waikato), -T.
