Tasmanian Sweep Prizes for New Zealand
SOUTH ISLANDERS LUCKY. Per Press Association. ■ AUCKLAND, Last Night. New Zealand subscribers won the third, fourth and fifth prizes in a consultation drawn at Hobart, Tasmania, yesterday under Government supervision. The winner of the third prize of £1250 was “First Try Syndicate,’’ care of Mrs. J. B. Waianaknrua, Oamaru (ticket 15C706). The fourth prize of £IOOO was won by “A.E.AL,” Jellicoe street south, New Brighton, Christchurch (ticket 171652). The winner of tho fifth prize of £750 was “C.N.P..” St. James street. Avonside, Christchurch (ticket 83297). The Christchurch Winners CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. The two Christchurch winners of prizes in the Hobart consultation are fairly well-known residents. A. E. Alalley, who won the fourth prize of £IOOO, is a draper, employed by T. Armstrong and Co. He is middle-aged and a widower, living with his family. He owns a full interest in the ticket. The winner of the fifth prize of £750 is C. N. Pearce, a single man, in steady employment, living at 21 St. James street, Linwood.
