C. AND O. v. BUNNYTHORPE An cvcnly-contestcd match between C. and C. ’s and Bunnythorpe, played at Milverton Park yesterday afternoon, resulted in a win for C. and C.’s with 3 goals, as against one goal scored by Bunnythorpe. Play was strong and swift, but Bunnythorpe showed signs of tiring towards tho end of tho second half. The goals were scored by H. Griffins (C. and C.’s) and W. Bansom (Bunnythorpe). GLEN OEOTJA v. H.S.O.G. Glen Oroua beat H.S.O.G. by three goals to nil. Old Girls were off their play on a rough field, and tired badly towards tho end of the game. Prior to that play was even. Tho goals were scored by Misses Esmc Hill, E. Gray and M. Scott. Mr W. 11. Wilson acted as umpire. OEOUA HOCKEY Playing at Marton yesterday, Halcombo ladies defeated Athletic in a challenge for the Athletic cup by four goals to one. The goals were secured by Polly Iwakau, Madge Clapham, Doreen Bodgcvs and Polly Williams. Allie Aitken scored for Athletic, who have held this cup for three seasons. Messrs T. F. Iwakau and A. Grade refereed. The Hnlcombo girls were very fit and thoroughly deserved their win.
