Exhibition for Convent Pupil

News has just been received from Trinity College, London, that Frank Perry, a pupil' of the Convent of Mercy, Palmerston North, has gained an exlii bition to the value of nine guineas for the highest marks in New Zealand in tlie Higher Local pianoforte examination. This clever pupil obtained almost full marks in both the practical and theoretical tests, gaining 9.1 in the former and 98 in the latter.
