Prime Minister to Visit City To-day

FOXTON FLAX WORKS TO BE INSPECTED The Prime Minister (Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes) is scheduled to leave New Plymouth this morning for Foxton, where he will visit the flax works at approximately 2 p.m. Later he is to proceed to Palmerston. North. Mr Forbes will spend this evening at this centre and attend the annual conference of sheep farmers which opens at Massey College to-morrow morning. He will leave subsequently for Wellington. Accompanying the Primo Minister will be Mrs Forbes and Dr. E. Marsden (secretary of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research). It is probable also that Hon. R. Masters (Minister of Education), who will be staying at Palmerston North this evening before continuing his journey to Napier, will come with Mr Forbes from Taranaki, which district ho is at present visiting.
