From Our Own Correspondent. A Waikanae visitor, Mr. P. Monk, is holidaying with Mr. and Mrs. H. is. I J rlnce. Desmond and Ernie Newcombe have been enjoying their school holidays at Karori. Sirs. Uhrbom has had Mrs. Flint and family staying with her. Trevor Hall has returned to his home in Wanganui. Whilst on holiday, Mrs. MeCool had the misfortune to fall and break her arm. Her friends hope she makes a quick recovery. Miss’,Connie Vautier has returned from a lioiday spent in Makino. Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Prince, with their three' small daughters, have returned from a holiday spent in Waikanae. Daphne and Willie Hazelhurst, after spending their holidays in Fordell, are now back home. Miss Rhodo Strachan, from Roxburgh, is staying with Mr. and Mrs. Vautier. Very wintry conditions have been responsible for many intluenza colds. The painters who have been busy repainting the school and school house, nave now packed up their tools. The buildings are much improved by the coat of paint.
