Her friends will be pleased to learn that Mrs B. W. Law, of Feilding, has returned home from the Palmorston North Hospital, and is making steady progress after her recent operation.

The many friends of Mrs J. Boyce, of Glen Oroua, wall be pleased to learn that she has returned to her home after being some time in hospital.

Tho weddiug of Miss Ailsa May Nelson, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Noel W. Nelson, of Wellington, is to take place this afternoon at St. Paul’s Pro-Cathedral, Wellington. The bridegrom is Lieutenant R. C. V. Thomson, A.D.C. to tho Governor-General, Lord Blodisloe. The couplo will leave on Friday for China, where Lieutenant Thomson will join his regiment,
