“Smithy” Hops Off for Australia Next Sunday

Sir Charles Kingsford Smith has cabled from London that ho will begin liis flight to Australia next Sunday, weather permitting, in a Percival Gull machine, which will have a cruising range of 1600 miles and a speed of 140 miles an hour. His routo will he via Brindisi, Karachi, and Calcutta.
