Swims 72 Hours to Break Endurance Record
BENGALI SWIMMER’S PEAT [(United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received Wednesday, 10.30 p.m. CALCUTTA, Sept. 27. Profulla Ghose, a well-known Bengali .swimmer, established a swimming endurance record of 72 hours 18 minutes, beating by 15 minutes the Empire endurance record of 72 hours 3 minutes claimed by a Maori womau. His trainer said that Ghose was good for five moro hours. His heart, pulse and breathing were' normal. It was raining heavily most of the time and tho water was cold.
