Newark as Site for New Stock Exchange
NEW YORK BROKERS’ DECISION.

The seloction of Newark (Now Jersey) as the site for the new Stock Exchange was announced by the New York. Stock Exchange as a means of refuge from the high taxes on brokers’ profits and stock transfers proposed by New York City. The new exchange is expected to open on October 2.
