Foxton Talkies
"Nagana’,, the attraction of the Foxton Town Hall to-night, is a vibrant thrilling love romance with a background presenting the picturesque interior of the Dark Continent as few pictures have done. No picture ever made, we think, has presented more thrilling wild animal sequences, and when a hundred ferocious beasts, including lions, leopards and panthers are confined in a single flimsy laboratory erected in a native village, there follows hair-raising scenes which must be seen to be appreciated. “Nagana” is a veritable classis. If you enjoy thrills and breathless suspense, do not fail to see it. Tala Birell, the Vienesse beauty, plays the leading role in which she is ably supported by Melvyn Douglas and Onslow Stevens. The following is the list of coming attractions at the Foxton Town Hall:— September 27, “Under Cover Man”; September 29 and 30, “The Air Mail”; October 4, “Humanity”; October 6 and 7, “The Flag Lieutenant”; October 11, ‘'The Phantom President”; October IS and 14, “The Mummy”; October 18, “Love on the Spot.”
