Y.W.C.A. Bridge Party

A very pleasant bridge party in aid of Y.W.C.A. funds ■ was held at the hostel, Queen street, on Wednesday evening, about 80 guests being present. Mrs A. A. Oliver was the chief organiser and great credit is due to her for tlio splendid arrangements so well carried out. The large dining-room, tastefully decorated, was used for play. The hostesses were the members of the board of directors and the matron, Miss Hilgendorf. Prize-winners were as follow:—-Highest score, Mrs Bowater; hidden number, Miss P. Hastings. Non-competitive games of 000 woro also played. The singing of the National Anthem brought tho function to a close.
