Pohangina Valley

From Our Own Correspondent. The Kia Ora basketball team from Mt. Richards played a return match with the Pohangina Valley team on Tuesday afternoon at Pohangina, winning the first match by ten goals to five and a second match by three goals to one. The games proved most enjoyable and at the conclusion of the match a dainty afternoon tea was served by the Pohangina ladies. The Kia Ora captain led the team In cheers for the Valley team, which was responded to heartily by the Pohangina team. Mr. Frank Orgias ably controlled the game. The Pohangina team was as follows:—J. Sinclair, J. Howell, M. Smart, I. Montgomerie, R. Klink, N .Klink, M. Fitzherbert, G. Brockett, D. Watson, F. ( Tews, M. Maddison and R. Wills.
