SMALL ENTRY FOR SATURDAY’S RACE The unsettled weataer and tho wei roads undoubtedly accounted for the small entry received for the Feilding Club’s 15-mile road race on Saturday afternoon. One enthusiast, however, arrived from Palmerston North and the event was duly run. Thomas, retired early in the race, finding the gear he was using unsuitable to the conditions. The result was as follows: —R. Lamberton (limit) 1, D. Lamberton (lmin) 2, S. Beazer (3min.) 3. Time, 46niin. 49 soc. Won by 30 seconds, a length between second and third. A Eade (4 min.) secured fastest time by registering 43min. 48sec. for tae journey. Also started: Thomas (3min.).
