The Point of View

In the course of a very informative address to the annual meeting, of the Palmerston North branch of the Plunfleet Society on Tuesday, Miss Eose, matron of the Wanganui Karitane Hospital, told her audience one fact that intrigued tho ladies very much. Miss Eose said they always endeavoured to have one normal baby in the hospital which served a dual purpose, so to speak. Tho idea was to receive some child into the hospital at birth which then spent a perfectly normal existence. It could be realised that the nurses i dealing always with weaklings and sick ! children might acquire a wrong point of view a.s to what was normal.
