Johnsonville Sale

Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., and Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on Johnsonville sale held on Tuesday as follows: — To the usual attendance of buyers we submitted a full yarding of all classes of stock. The cattle yarding comprised mostly prime quality heavy bullocks, cows and heifers with a few pens of lighter sorts. Competition was keen at last week’s rates. Sheep generally were of good quality and met a good demand at prices showing no alteration on last week’s quotations. There was little demand for lamb.
