The News of the World says that Dean Inge will shortly resign the office of Dean of St. Paul's, owing to advancing years. The Very Rev. W. Ralph Inge, D.D., KjC.V.O., whose outspokenness om. social and political questions has been a refreshing feature of modern times, has been Doan of St. Paul’s since 1911. He turned 73 this month. Besides being an eminent classical scholar, he is an authority on tho history of mysticism in the Christian religion.. He was made a Companion of the Victorian Order, in 1918, and K.C.V.O. in 1930.
