Bunnythorpe Highway Accident

SYDNEY GRAHAM FURTHER REMANDED

The motor cycle tragedy on the Bunuytliorpe highway in which a young Maori lost his life and others were seriously injured was mentioned again at the Feilding Magistrate’s Court yesterday. The charge against Sydney Graham, on remand, of driving a motor cycle when intoxicated was read and on tho application of tho police a further remand until March 28 granted. Bail was renewed on the same terms as previously with provision that defendant report regularly to tlio police. A further charge against Graham alleged that while in a state of intoxication ho was in chargo of a motor cycle and by an act in relation thereto did cause the death of Hapeta Raika Kereana. On this information defendant was remanded until March 28 on bail.
