When the Mongolia arrived from England tho port medical officer decided that no one but the quarantine staff should go aboard until a temperature examination had been made owing to information that influenza was rife on the ship. It is stated that 170 persons aboard have been or are affected. The influenza is of a mild form. , Only two cases developed since leaving Bombay. Limited pratique to Fremantle has been granted. All the temperatures were above normal but this was traced to the effects of vaccination against smallpox at Colombo.
