Dr. Teresa Craig, house surgeon at the Palmerston North Hospital, who has boon visiting the South Island, returned to Palmerston North during tho week-end.
Tho friends of Mrs. F. W. Aishar will be pleased to hear that sho is progressing after . her serious illness although still an iumato of the hospital.
Mrs. A. Thomson, who with her four childnon has been visiting her mother, Mrs. Sutherland, Wanganui East, has returned to her homo at Buckley, Shannon.
When Miss Griffin, matron of the Old Bsoplo’s Home, at Awapuni, goc: on her annual leave about February 10, she intends to visit North Auckland. In ■her absence Sister Ogilvic, of Wellington, will be in charge.
One of Wanganui’s oldest residents, and widow of one of the city’s oarliest doctors, Mrs. B. C. Earle, died at her home at Aramoho, recently. Tho late Mrs. Earle, who was 83 years of age, is survived by two sons, Dr. Maurice Earle and Mr. B. C. Earle, and two daughters, Mesdames B. Gill-Carcy and L W. Good.
