Charged with the theft of a racing bicycle vdlued at £4, the property of G. K. Holier, a man —whose name was suppressed in the meantime —yesterday appeared in tho Palmerston North Magistrate’s Court beforo Mr. J. T Stout, S.M. Mr. Cooper appeared ror accused, a remand being granted until Friday. Baii was allowed in accused’s own recognisance.
During December, 353 rations were issued to 56 eases throughout the Palmerston North Hospital Board’s district, as compared with 517 rations to 84 cases during tho . corresponding month of 1931.
