Manawatu Stud Breeders’ Sale

SELECT OFFERING AT FEILDING

Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd,, in conjunction with Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., report on their stud ram fair at Feilding on the IBth ixst. as under:— The Southdown studs were first to be offered. The offering in this section was a select one on account of some of the main breeders in the Manawatu and Raugitikei districts. The inquiry ror some of the outstanding rams was very keen and taking into consideration the times we made a very satisfactory clearance of our catalogue. Tho Romney section was representative of some of the best breeders also in tho Raugitikei and Manawatu districts, and although the bidding on these was rather inconsistent some of the top rams solicited keen competition, prices realised being satisfactory to vendors.
