Plane Crashes in Parisian House
OLD LADY SAVES PURSE AND LOSES LIFE
United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Received Wednesday, 7.45 p.m. PARIS, Dec. 20. A military plane crashed on the roof of a house in a Parisian suburb. The pilot was killed instantly. The inhabitants rushed into tho street while policemen and volunteers using ladders attempted to reach tho wreckage. A septuagenarian woman resident returned to fetch her savings when a violent explosion occurred owing to the petrol reaching the stove through the chimney. The explosion killed th« woman and injured nineteen others.
