At a meeting of Women’s Institutes held in Auckland recently, Mm. R. Kelso, of Paraparaumu (editor of Home and Country, tho Institute journal) made a brilliant, forceful and sincere speech on the value that this movement is to the country women, many of whom were being saved, from mental breakdown by its help. The speaker closed on a fine note, stating that, the lives of the womon in the country were vital to our Dominion’s welfare and that v/omen New Zealand over must co-oper-ate for the benefit of the whole.
