The Feilding branch of the, B.S.A, will hold a reunion on Armistice Day, November 11, when the ladies’ Anzac luncheon committee will assist in their customary gracious way.
The swimming season in Feilding was commenced on Saturday last when the local baths were re-opened. There will be a special sitting of the Fending Magistrate's Court this morning for the purpose of further remanding . a man arrested last week ■who is alleged to be concerned in a series of charges. A sermon on the Measuring of the Temple of Jerusalem was preached by the Rev. D. B. McDonald at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Feilding, on Sunday night when a party of members of the Manchester Masonic Lodge were in attendance. Splendid choral singing under the baton of Mr. G. Bartholomew with Mr. Matheson at the organ was a feature of the service. Despite the wet weather on Saturday the Central Croquet Club, Feilding, opened its season, Mrs. Flavall, president, performing the ceremony. Visitors were present from other clubs and the competitions held were won oy Mrs. McGuigan (St. John’s), Mrs. Ellery (Central) and Mrs. Farmer (Oroua).
