Aeroplane Accident at Masterton
MASTERTON, Last Night. When the Wairarapa Aero Club’s machine ZK-ABE was being piloted to a landing at Woodvillc on Saturday afternoon by Mr. H. T. Parsons, one of the club pilots, it crashed from what is said to have been a height of 100 ft. Mr. Parsons luckily escaped injury. The aeroplane was not damaged as badly as might have been expected, but the under-carriage, the propeller and both wings were knocked about. The machine was brought back to Masterton on a lorry, and it is anticipated that it will be fit for service again in about a week.
