Back in England After 18 Years’ Service Abroad

FIRST BATTALION OF ROYAL WELSH FUSILIERS

(British Official Wireless.) Received Friday, 7.30 pan. RUGBY, April 21. The King sent by wireless a message of greeting to the First Battalion ol the Royal Welsh Fusiliers, of which he is Colonel-in-Chief, and which arrived at Southampton to-day from Egypt after IS years service abroad. The message read: “Since the uattalion left these shores in 1914, it lias seen much active service. I am proud to think my regiment won fresh laurels by its conduct in war and peace, and I wish all ranks a happy return to their liomes and families.”
