Heads Battered While Asleep
SYDNEY SOLICITOR AND WIFE IN CRITICAL CONDITON.

Victor Claude Sayweil, a well-known solicitor and sportsman, and his wife, were found in bed to-day with their heads .horribly bettered, apparently with a hammer, while asleep. They were taken to hospital in a critical condition.
No Reason Yet Ascertained
Received Friday, 10.45 p.m. SYDNEY, April 22. No reason for tho murderous attack upon the Saywelis has yet bceu ascertained, but a blood-stained hammer was discovered in an adjoining paddock. The Saywelis are prominent society folk, residing on Bellevue Hill.
