DAIRY BOARD’S ATTITUDE TO EXCHANGE QUESTION. Per Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, Last Night. Mr. James Hine, a member of the Dairy Produce Board, takes strong exception to tho telegraphed report from Wellington that the Meat, Dairy and Fruit Boards on Thursday met, and passed a, resolution instructing a committee to press the Government for an early settlement of the exchange question. Mr. Hine states that he and other members of tho Dairy Board left Wellington on Wednesday night, so that the meeting could not have been held on Thursday. At Wednesday’s meeting the chairman reported on the work of the farmers’ exchange committee, but the board passed no resolution, though there jygs some informal discussion.
