The final and deciding tenuis test between Australia and Japan was continued to-day iu perfect weather. Re suits were: —

Singles: Hopman beat Nunoi 2 — 6, 6 —2, 6 —3; Sproulo beat Harada 6 —4, 6 —3; Crawford beat Satoh 6 —4, I— 6,

Doubles: Hopman and Sproulc beat Harada and Nunoi 6 —4, 5—7, G —4. Total: Australia, six rubbers, 13 sets, 103 games; Japan, two rubbers, 8 sets, yO games. The test concludes to-morrow.

Critics declare that Satoh’s speed against Crawford to-day was never eclipsed in first-class tennis in Australia and had a great crowd on tiptoe with excitement.
