Tho New York Times’ Manila correspondent states that the Big Wedge Mining Company operating the Atnimok properties near Daguio, report that Arthur Dee, a San Francisco mining- engineer, while inspecting their properties made what is apparently the most sensational gold strike in Philippine history which, if true, will be one of the world’s major gold discoveries. Samples of Dee’s ore assayed here show it to be remarkable value straight commercial ore, producing at least two thousand dollars to the ton. several specimens rate as high as three thousand dollars to the ton. The Big Wedge Company plans to develop the find.
