Laurels to Lawrence The Manawatu Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club continued the Red Seal and Hcndie trophies series, E. Lawrence 1 proving the winner, with fastest time as well. The course lay from the cor- , ner of Rangitikei and Featherstonc streets to Bunnythorpe via Railway : road, to Kairanga via the BunnythorpcKairanga road to Rongotca road, and 1 back by Boundary road. Lawrence hau a lead of a second or two at the finis from E. Walker, and a short distance . back followed J. Procter, the bnnt man. The rest of the field came m a . short intervals, C.
