AMMON RA SCORES IN ROSEHILL PLYING HANDICAP CARLING.FORD MILE WON BY LOVE SONG. United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph. —Copyright. Received Sunday, 5.5 p.m. SYDNEY, Aug. 15. Love Song (9.3) won the Carlingford mile at Rosehill by a neck from John Buchan (9.8) and Warneton (8.1). Chide was among the fifteen starters but though finishing fast was unable to make up the lost ground. Movie Star was sore in the three-year-old handicap but ran well though unplaced. The Rosehill Flying Handicap resulted: — AMMON RA, 8.4 (McCarton) .. 1 LEGISLATOR, 8.0 (Johnstone) .. - SUNLIT REEF, 7.7 (Weiss) .... 3 Fifteen started. Won easily in 1.14. Spoarshot fell in the Rosehill Handicap, broke a shoulder and was destroyed.
