Enjoyable Evening at Otago Club Open Night

The Otago Club open night held in the Cosmopolitan Hall on Wednesday evening was as usual a very bright and entertaining function. Dancing was enjoyed to excellent music, novelty items adding to the interest. The M.sC. were Messrs. McCulloch and Page, while Mr. H. McKay carried out the secretarial duties most efficiently. The ladies committee comprised Mesdames Walker, Dredge, Barlow, Davidson and Coughlan, and Misses Wilkinson, Hemingway and Coughlan. It was announced that a series of card and musical evenings would bo held at members’’ homes to foster tho club spirit and incidentally augment the funds. Mrs. Peters kindly donated a cake for a weight guessing competition on Wednesday night.
