“Tic Naugthy Wife”

To the Editor. Sir, —I beg to draw attention that the Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society has undertaken a production of “The Naughty Wife” for the benefit of the Central Relief Committee. Naturally, the staging of such a piece entails a certain amount of expense, but it is sincerely hoped that the effort will be successful in so far as the raising of funds is concerned. Whether that hope will be realised depends entirely upon the patronage of the public to-night, to-morrow and on Friday.

I can only ask for the support of the effort by assuring all patrons that they will receive a full return of pleasurable entertainment for the admission charges.—l am, etc., B. J. JACOBS, President.
