FRSE-OF-INTEREST LOANS
The monthly meeting of directors of the Starr-Bo.wkett Building Society was held last evening, Mr. S. J. Watson presiding. Also present were Messrs. C. E. Dempsy, M. A. Eliott, J. B. Gorrand, E. Jackson, D. Morrison and S. W. Eaplcy. The annual general meeting of the society was tixed for Friday, August 2S, and it was decided to hold ballots for freo-of-interost loans in all seven groups, a total of £OSOO to be available for ballots.
A loan of £3OO was reported as completed, and a loan of £3OO was approved (subject to valuation), in Ko. 3 group. A loan of £IOO was approved in No. -1 group and £3OO was passed for payment in No. (i group. A loan of £(500 was completed ,in No. 7 group, and £SOO obtained by ballot was placed on deposit for a member in No. 0 group.
