NOT MUCH CHANCE OF REMOVAL. United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. DUNEDIN, Last Night. Mr. J. B. Waters, chairman of tho Dunedin Grain, Seed and Produce Merchants’ Association, last week forwarded the following telegram to the Minister of Agriculture: “In view of tho heavy importations of Australian produce, the Dunedin Grain, Seed and Produce Merchants’ Association respectfully urges the strongest representations on the Australian authorities to remove tho embargo on New Zealand potatoes in order to assist growers in tho present glutted market.” The following reply has been received from the Minister: “Your telegram received. The Government quite recently cabled tho Australian authorities urging the withdrawal of tho embargo on the importation of potatoes into the Commonwealth, but regret to say the reply received was that the request coulckmot be acceded to. ’
