Copious Flow of Oil At New Plymouth

150 BARRELS IN ONE DAY. Per Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, Last Night. Following a powerful blow-out of oil and inflammable gas at Moturoa Oilfields No. 2 well yesterday production tests were made to-day. The well was connected to a hundred-barrel tank and by the self-flow the tank was half filled in a short time before the well was closed. The 84in. casing was still full of oil and it is estimated to contain another hundred barrels, making 150 barrels total flow'. Several flow's made a spectacular display.
