Remove Croydon To London Roofs

GREAT AIR AND RAIL DROME PLANNING. A £5,000,000 scheme to revolutionise London air traffic by erecting an overhead aerodrome at King’s Cross is being planned by a committee of business men, architects, and engineers. Under the scheme, if the necessary parliamentary and other powers are obtained, a huge central air and rail terminus would bo built on a site now occupied by railway sidings near King’s Cross and St. Pancras stations. Mr. G. W. Glover, a member of a London firm of engineers and architects, who has designed the scheme, told a reporter:— "Our plans will take about three years to complete. In effect it provides for tho removal of Croydon aerodrome to central London.”
