Lost in a Fog

DANCER’S UNPLEASANT ORDEAL. To have lost their way in a fog in a motor ride from London to Leicestershire, and to have kept over 300 people waiting five hours for her cabaret turn, has been the experience of Chita, the American dancer. Chita and her three partners werfl to have appeared at a cabaret hunting ball given at Newnham-Paddox, thet home of Viscountess Feilding, where* they were expected to perform their turn at about 1.15 a.m. “We left London at 10.30,” Chita said, “but it was so foggy that we missed the way and got hopelessly lost. We arrived at Lutterworth at 5 a.m. and were not able to appear until six o’clock. Many of the guests had gono but about 100 who were just leaving turned back for our performance.”
