A slight earth tremor was experienced in Feilding at 9.52 a.m. on Saturday. Mr. Raymond Leicester, youngest son of Mr. C. A. Leicester, Rongotea, received recent advice from London that he had been successful in passing the A.M.I.E.E. examination. Having matriculated at King’s College, Auckland, he took a four years’ course in electrical engineering at Canterbury College and is now on the staff of. the Taumarunui hydro-electric works.
