Canada's New GovernorGeneral

Received Sunday, 9.50 p.m. HALIFAX, April 4. The Earl of Besseborough was sworn in as Governor-General of Canada to-day, he and the Countess leaving later for Ottawa. Mr. Bennett (Prime Minister) and thirteen Ministers attended, in addition to representatives of all walks of Canadian life. The ceremony was' accompanied by the booming of guns and a colourful display.
