Musical Evening

The pupils of Mrs A Attwood, pianoforte teacher of Palmerston North, held their annual break-up concert before a large gathering of parents and friends at Messrs Collinson and Cunninghame’s last evening. The visitors included Mr J. A. Nash M.P., and Mrs Nash. Mr Nash expressed his pleasure in being able to attend the function and congratulated Mrs Attwood on tho tuition she was giving her pupils, Mr Nash then presented the certificates and prizes gained by the pupils during the year.

Mr W. Oliver also referred to the successes gained by the pupils in the recent examinations.

Duets and solos wore contributed during tho evening, the pupils giving considerable pleasure with their performances. Supper was served and the gathering concluded with tho singing of “God Save tho King.”
