“Te Cows is Try”
The following letter from a native raised a smilo at yesterday's meeting of The Manawatu Drainage Board:— “I havo received your demand for rates the a other day, it is true sir but just now this winter time the cows is try I have not got any money just now to handed over to you just now, I think in about two week time or may be little more I have some' to handed ovor to pay my rates, will you kindly wait till I have some.'’
