SATURDAY'S GAMES. ' Basketball games played on Saturday "afternoon resulted as follow: —Tiro Tiro Akc 7 v. Technical B 3; Technical "C 35 v. Y.W.C.A. 1; All Saints' 10 v. High School Old Girls 4; Convent Old Girls beat Y.M. Gym. by default.. The draw for next Wednesday is as follows: —Convent Old Girls v. Technical Old Girls, Convent grounds, 3.15 pm., referee, Miss Jamieson. FOXTON RUNNERS-UP IN LEVIN TOURNAMENT. The first annual tournamont for the bahner given by Mr. H. Walkley, of Levin, for competition among the school basketball teams of the district extending from Paekaknriki to Tokomaru and including Foxton, with a vaso for the runner-up, was held on the grounds of the Levin District High > School on Saturday morning, and was participated in by girls from the Waikanae, Otaki, Ohau and Shannon public schools, the Levin Convent school, and the Foxton and Levin District High schools, the latter school putting in three teams. The final, between Levin A and Foxton, resulted in a win for,the former team, which thus came through the tourney undefeated.
