Collected Pay and Not Seen Since
COMPANION ALSO MISSING. GEE YMOUTH MYSTER Y. Per Press Association. GRE YMOUTH. Aug. 3. A man named Samuel Rothcra, married, aged about 30, proprietor of a laundry at Greymoutb, has been missing since Friday night when ho went to Dobson. Rothcra, who formerly had been employed at the Dobson mine, had gone with another man in a motor lorry in order to collect his pay as a miner since when there has been no tidings of Eothera. The police are searching for tho man who accompanied him. The lorry was on Saturday found parked alongside the Taylorvi'.Jc bridge near Dobson but Rothcra’s wife is at loss to account for his whereabouts. It is understood lie loft tho mine owing to heart ailment and it is feared he may have been drowned in the Grey river.
