Tho following will represent the Horowhenua juniors in the match against Manawatu to-day at- Levin: Morris (Hui Mai), Patterson (Wandierers), Swainson (H.M.), Goo (Shannon), Werata (Wanderers), N. Huff (Foxton), Hartley (Foxton), Piki (Wanderers), Faficta (Otaki), Mooro (H.M.), Be van (Otaki), Newman (Shannon), Hobson (Koputaroa), Corner (Paraparaumu), McDonald (Kop.). Bescrves, Croon (Foxton), Ryder (Otaki), Jones (Wanderers), Edginton (Kaikanac).. Under tho Borough Council’s relief scheme for tho unemployed, a further batch of 15 men commenced work on the Grey Street alterations on Tuesday morning. Work will have to cease at the end of the rvoek, owing to tho funds coming to an end. > Shannon will break into t'lic Talkie craze on August 28, when Mr A. E. B'ydo will change over from his present installation. Several alterations have been made to the building and a new vocalite screen will be erected.
