Preparations are well in hand for the holding of a Coster ball in Feilding in aid of the funds of the Feilding Aero Club. A largo committee of ladies are organising the dance which will be on tho lines of those run at Christchurch. The idea is not to expect, everyone to attend in the strictly coster “pearlies,’ ’but to so contrive to dress in a manner indicative of coster styles. For the men, an out-of-date suit with a Ted scarf and oversize cap is suggested, while for tho ladies, a broad-brim-med hat with swaying ostrich feathers, plus a colourful scarf or shawl, will overcome many difficulties after the gowning is complete. Tho ball will bo held in the Drill hall on Thursday.
