OROUA SUB-ASSOCIATION WEDNESDAY MATCHES At Marton, the Waituna team played Marton Athletic, tho latter being defeated by four goals to one. Messrs. J. le Comte and A. Smart refereed. At Rata, Tokorangi played Rata, Messrs T. F. Iwikau and P. Sambo having control. Rata gained the victory by two goals to one. At Stanway, Hinemoa played Stanway. Messrs J. MeFarlane and M. Te Tomo controlled the game, which ended in defeat for Stanway by two goals to one. At Haleombe, Haleombe Athletic met Marton United, Messrs. G. McKoy and A. Sanson refereeing. Athletic won by two goals to one. Tho results of Wednesday’s play put Hinemoa, Tokorangi and Marton United on an equal basis, each team having scored the same number of points, with Waituna only one point behind. The next series of matches will complete the round.
