BRAMWELL—SANDS.
Tho marriage was celebrated at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Auckland, last Saturday evening of Miss Thelma Viola Sands, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Sands, of Epsom, to Mr. Wallace Stanley Bramwell, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Bramwell, of Feilding. Canon Fancourt officiated. The bride, ■who was given away by her father, wore a frock of ivory georgette with a tight-fitting bodice, ornamented with hand embroidery and polka dotted net. The skirt, which was of alternate bands of georgette and net, dipped at tho back, falling in graceful folds to the ankles. Her veil of ivory embroidered tulle was arranged on the head in a Russian head-dress and she carried a shower bouquet. In attendance as bridesmaids were Miss Madge MeM'aster, Miss Eileen Kirk and Miss Madge Hopwood, who wore frocks of peach taffeta, with long skirts, dipping at the back, large bows defining the waistline. Their rose felt hats were turned off the face, and they carried shower bouquets to tone with their frocks. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Prydq as best man, and Mr. N. Bramwcll and Mr. E. Sands were groomsmen. After the ceremony a reception was held, Mrs. Sands receiving her guests in a frock of reseda-green moire velvet, with a hat to tone. Mrs. Bramwell wore a frock of mushroompink lace and georgette, and a felt hat to tone.
